FanSaves Co-Founder & CEO Receives Forty Under 40 Distinction

Shannon Ferguson, Co-Founder & CEO of FanSaves, has been named a 2022 Forty Under 40 in Canada's National Capital region, an honour reserved for rising business stars in the Ottawa area.

A statement in the OBJ explains that the awards are a joint initiative of the Ottawa Business Journal and the Ottawa Board of Trade and have become widely recognized as the region’s most sought-after business award for people under the age of 40.

This year’s competition once again attracted hundreds of applicants from a wide range of industries, who were assessed and ranked based on business accomplishments, professional experience and community involvement.

"This is so incredible and I am beyond proud! The Forty Under 40 award is something I've had my eye on for a couple of years now" said Shannon.

She continued "Running a startup and building a business from the ground up is not easy and you don't do it for the awards, you do it for the vision, but being recognized is a really nice cherry on top. I share this with my co-founder and life partner Kris McCarthy, who I couldn't have done any of this without".

This year marks the 25th year for the Forty Under 40 awards and the 1000th recipient. A gala will take place on June 17th to celebrate the entire 2022 cohort.
